Who wants to be a computer programmer anyway? As noted earlier, the usual job training programs may be proving less than satisfactory. Perhaps it's time to try something more, uh … artistic?
The Miami Herald chronicles how an out-of-work trucker and others train to give (and receive) body slams and metal chairs to the head at a pro wrestling school in South Florida.

Or perhaps, in light of the recession, now seems like a good time to run off to the circus. There's a circus training academy in San Francisco that even has summer programs for kids.
